Woody biomass, when efficiently utilized as a fuel, can be an attractive renewable form of base load power generation. The industry has experienced significant growth over the last several decades and has the potential for further growth through innovative technologies that increase yields and utilize other forms of renewable feedstock including assorted organic waste streams.
