Biofuels derived from agricultural crops currently represent the predominant source of renewable fuels for use in transportation vehicles. The industry has experienced significant growth over the past decade and has the potential for further growth through innovative technologies that increase yields and utilize other forms of renewable feedstock, including woody biomass and assorted organic waste streams.
